Lunawath House, Chennai, India

This is the first private residence project by Building Design Studios in India. The house is designed for a prominent Chennai based developer. Located in one of the most posh neighborhoods in Chennai, the client was after a design that fits his profile and philosophy. The house will be predominantly glass and steel with selective use of form concrete and external timber cladding. It houses 4 bedrooms, formal living/ dining, family spaces. A separate building houses the club house incorporating a gym, pool, steam and games room for personal and family recreation. The Architects followed a very minimalist approach to the design while respecting the principles of Vaastu Shastra. Designer: Amarindra Rana
